Leadership Roles

Note: All leaders attend a mandatory weekly 6pm pre-meeting prior to the whole group meeting. Leadership positions are a 4-month commitment except for Peer Advocates.

Peer Facilitator/Co-Facilitator The job of the Co-facilitator is to co-lead the leadership and whole group meetings by facilitating group business and assisting in the group process.
Greeter This job involves welcoming members, especially those new to the group, taking attendance, and checking on absent members.
Board Liaison The Board Liaison attends each monthly Board meeting and brings to the PI membership those decisions which pertain to the leadership team as well as the whole group.
Office Staff Members of the office staff are available to answer questions on the toll-free phone line as well as several instant messaging programs, and do the general clerical work that keeps the PI Center operating. This is a 2-hour per week volunteer position at the Center.
Webteam The Web Development Team creates and maintains relevant GLBTQ material for the official PI Website, including news, events, resources, photos, and content created by the membership.
Fundraising Committee The job of the Fundraising Team is to assist the PI Board of Directors in raising monies so that the organization's fiscal budget is sustained.
