Everyday we walked to school,
And everyday he wore a dress
And everyday the same thing happened.
This was no normal Truck,
This was a super monster truck
That was bigger than every tract house
Suburbia, from here to LA down the 5.
The wheels themselves were bigger
Than every mechanic around the globe
Bigger than the whole damn globe itself.
And every morning the same man
Stuck the same ugly pinched up face
Out the window and yelled "You're a fag."
And every morning he blinked and kept on walking.
Him in a dress and six inch heels
To augment his 6'4" frame
And me, running a marathon
To keep up for every step he took.
"Don't
you hear that?," he'd say everyday.
"Don't you hear that, it's God."
And everyday we'd smile at each other
And walk on.
